Crafting the Perfect Yearbook Cover [Designing your Yearbook Cover ]
This section explains how to effectively design your yearbook cover by understanding the wrap and crop zones, ensuring important elements are safeguarded, precisely placing artwork, and utilizing the back cover and pre-designed cover options to avoid design errors and maximize your cover’s potential.
1. Understand the Wrap and Crop Zones
When designing your cover, ensure your image extends beyond the red line to avoid white borders. Redesign if necessary to preserve important content.
Important: Reprints for design errors will not be offered. Contact customer support if unsure.
2. Safeguard Important Elements
Keep text and faces at least 1/8” away from the crop/wrap zones to prevent loss.
3. Precise Placement
Center artwork carefully, as adding/deleting pages can cause shifts. Use center guides and size text boxes accurately.
